Initial Setup

In the beginning you’re going to want to fly the sexiest plane you set your eyes on. That would be the biggest mistake you could ever make in getting into this hobby. As much as you’ll want to fly that Warbird, Jet or Aerobatic plane you simply won’t be successful. The problem is that the hobby does have a learning curve and by immediately jumping to any aircraft other than a trainer you’ll be compounding that curve exponentially. In doing so you’ll frustrate the hell out of yourself and make it a costly endeavor.  What you want to do is set yourself up for success by starting out with the right plane and the right tools. Take a look at our Trainstar with the blow molded fuselage and Ready To Fly  package. A flight simulator is another good tool to help with your muscle memory and orientation.
