Shipping & Returns

Provincial Flat Rate Shipping On Models valued at 115 dollars or higher (some provinces might be slightly higher)

ClearSky Hobbies offers flat rate shipping starting at 25.00$ on all models valued at  $115 or more via Canada Post Expedited Ground to wherever this service is available in Canada.

• Parcels will be shipped via Canada Post Expedited Ground Service
• If the order is under $115 in product value and it is possible to fit it into an oversize bubble envelope with appropriate padding (maximum dimensions and weight of 380mm x 270mm x 20mm, 500g) we will do our best to ship it this way and you will be charged a flat shipping fee of $5.00.

Please Note:

• Value of the product is the total invoice price of the product contained in the parcel and does not include applicable taxes.
• Expedited ground is not available to some remote destinations, for dangerous goods, or for huge parcels exceeding 300cm length plus girth. We will contact you with rates if your parcel exceeds Expedited Ground specifications and does not qualify for our Free Shipping Program. If you are a remote destination, see Expedited Air below.
• This offer is available only in Canada.

Shipping Methods for Orders Within Canada

Orders are shipped from Oshawa Ontario, and we generally ship orders by Canada Post. This allows us to ship to every address in the country.  We can, under some circumstances, ship by other means. Please contact us if you have another method by which you wish to have your order shipped. Additional charges may apply and small delays may be encountered.

Expedited Mail

Expedited Mail is the most economical way to have your order shipped and is usually delivered within 4 or 7 business days to most centers within Canada.

Express Post
Express Post is usually 2 business day delivery to all major centers in Canada. Outlying areas maybe slightly longer.

Priority Courier
Priority Courier is usually next business day delivery to all major centers within Canada. Outlying areas maybe slightly longer.

Shipping charges depend on the weight and size of the package being sent and the service chosen. Final shipping charges are calculated as you checkout through the website.

Additional charges that could apply:

Oversize — If a parcel is over 48,000 cubic centimeters in volume it is considered oversize. For any package over this volume, a charge equal to the difference between the cost of shipping the actual package and the cost of shipping a package of 48,000 cubic centimeters will be applied.

Insurance — All orders will not be insured unless requested. We will not be responsible for loss or damage of any shipment which is not insured. Insurance charges are $1.85 per hundred dollars worth of order.

US Shipping Methods:

For US orders, ClearSky Hobbies provides shipment by Xpresspost. We recommend Xpresspost for the best shipping value. There may be limits on package size for US orders.

Great Value! — Xpresspost USA

Xpresspost delivery time is usually between 4 and 7 business days. Rates start at about $22.00cnd for small packages.

Fedex
Fedex would be the choice for those really in a hurry for their product, however, based on our experience, shipping charges from Canada to the US are expensive. Delivery time is usually 2 to 5 business days.

Additional charges that could apply:

Insurance — All orders will be sent insured unless otherwise requested. We will not be responsible for loss or damage of any shipment which is not insured. Insurance charges are $2.00 per hundred dollars worth of order.

International Orders

We currently do not ship orders outside of North America.

 

RETURNS

Subject to the following Terms and Conditions, you may return any regularly stocked product, within 30 days from date of invoice for a refund or credit to an alternate purchase.

Special Order, Discontinued and Clearance/Stock Reduction items cannot be returned. All sales on these products are final.

All items being returned must be in new condition, remain unused, and must be in the original packaging. Once an item has been used we will not accept a return for any reason. Some items are subject to the special conditions, please see below.

Missing Parts:

If you find a part is missing from your product please contact us within 30 days from the date of invoice. We will obtain a replacement part or, at our discretion, choose to replace the part from our existing inventory. 

When returning an item please contact us prior to returning the product!

Please contact us at clearskyhobbies@rogers.com to obtain return authorization and return instructions before sending the return back.

When returning an item, include your return merchandise number (this number will be issued when you first contact us about your return). Don't forget to include your full name and address so we know who sent the return.

If you want to return something, please do not mark on, or damage the product packaging in any way. Remember, the item must be in new condition. We protect all shipments with additional packaging when shipping to you, we ask you to do the same. Please do not put a label or scrawl an address on the product itself to return it and expect to get a refund! 

 Again, the item being returned must be in new, unused condition, in the original packaging. Do not use a product if it is not what you had ordered unless you intend to keep the product anyway. We will not accept used merchandise for return and we will not accept packages sent to us COD.

For all returns, shipping will be paid by the sender.
